Post subject: Deer Park Veterans Memorial-3 inch Gun M5's
A fairly new war memorial, conveniently situated less than 5 minutes from my grandparents house, and at a park I've been to before O_O.


Left-side gun, 3 inch Gun M5 No.2401. The dataplates for the carriage and the recoil mechanism on both guns were missing.

Right-side Gun, 3 inch Gun M5 No.2434. There were extraneous "8's" on the end of both gun numbers, not sure if they were part of that, or meant something else. Also note the furry little visitor

I think the "8" is actually a Ordnance "flaming bomb" acceptance stamp.
