Yea, yea, yea This is at least one company's vision of how to make money. I won't say I'm jaded but I've listened to hardware and software vendors pimp their products (and supported more than one in the past, yes I've worked for software and hardware companies doing sales support Rolling Eyes ) and I'll believe half of it when I see it being sold by more than one vendor. Yea he says the right words but I'll wait and see Wink

The whole video was talking. I wanted to see it in action. Talk is cheap... Wink

You need the glasses to see it in action.
They're basically similar to other brands, in that they offer an alternating shutter to allow different frame images into each eye at ultra fast speeds.
These are recognised as far superior to the 'red/cyan' 3D glasses Bushy used at his local drive-in back in the fort... well... let's not be unkind!

Where this model differs is in its' apparent reliability and resistance to problems which have slowed interest in the other brands, such as its' ability to keep information from the smallest received packet transmissions and continue the broadcast.
It does this by relying on RF technology rather than the more direct Infra-Red transmitters that have been used.
This also allows a much greater number of units to be connected at the same time, also with (allegedly) imperceptable information loss.

RF - so it will interfere with my garage door opener Confused

And I wouldn't want to try and use it near an active airport, especially a military one. and if my neighbor has one will I be playing his game instead of mine? (or will my kids be watching his porno instead of Litttle Mermaid Shocked ) and lets doen't even get into business applications where I might not want my competitor in the next suite to see my demos

I expected the whole video to be talking. It's like the commercials trying to get you to buy HD TV. They can't show you how good it looks because you don't have it Rolling Eyes You have to trust them enough to take time to go see it on their setup and be convinced it will look as good when you get it home Wink

Reminds me of all those great inventions that are supposed to save you gas that pop up whenever the price get's real high.

" Believe us, it works, listen to all these great testimonials from these unbiased satisfied customers"

Then you wonder how they could be so happy when the product hasn't even been released for more than a few weeks.

I ain't from Missouri (only 5 miles away though), but "Show Me" Laughing

Homey, remember "HR_Blind" (not sure on the initials now) from CFS1?
Heck, he used to have his Seing-Eye dog ("HR_Dog") fly the plane for him!
You just need to go out and buy yourself a Labrador and let him have all the fun.

The computer Hardware/Gaming community is buzzing about these glasses.
They are usually quick to shoot down the driftwood, and don't mind hurting peoples feelings while they do it.
Just saying, this could be one to watch.
If anyone's interested and might be thinking of a new monitor / t.v. screen in the not-too-distant future, they may want to hanhg back and see what happens.
Or at least give themselves the option of something that's 3-D ready.

World's first 3-D sports broadcast this weekend, using these things.
For cross-pond translation purposes, where they refer to "football" they mean proper football; Played with the feet. Wink

Let us know how you like it Shades... Wink

Frankly, I think using a BIG 180 degree wrap around monitor flying FSX in 3D would be COOL!

I'm not going to the footy match so I won't be able to tell you how I like it I'm afraid.
That and I'm skint anyway.
