Me and tony starting playing CFs back in 99 we joined AoD as young Cdt`s played many a battle in the Sky with him and now he has gone to the sky for his last time.

Sad news life is so short.

I just recieved a email from Tonys brother Ken asking me to thank everyone here for there kind remarks and tributes,

Dear Mick,
I am sorry that it has taken me this long to write to you and thank you for all your help. I am deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of my brother and find it very difficult to come to terms with what has happened. I never thought this would happen so soon and so early in his life despite all the health scares he had. I saw him only 2 days before it happened.
Mick my family and I want to thank you for all you have done for Tony and for being the great friend that you obviously were to him. We find great comfort in that. And please thank all his friends online for their words of kindness and condolences. You have no idea how much it means to us to know how much he was cared for by so many and I know that he enjoyed tremendously all the fun you guys had together there. It was his haven of peace.
I dont really know what else to say at the moment because i am still so numbed by his departure........... I cant believe he is gone. I still see him sitting there in front of his pc typing and clicking away with the odd swear word coming from his mouth and i still think of going round to see him..........
One thing i am glad for is that he is with Dad now and although he was taken from us before his time I am sure he is still there looking down on all of us making his comments. May he soar forever.

wow. when i heard this the other day from ban i was very shocked. Tony was a great friend to have online and a good pilot. I know that he is now in a better place. My condolences go to his family. I salute you tony, and u will never be forgotten. S!

On behalf of the Hellfighters Squadron I'd like to add our condolences.

Much missed...................never forgotten.

I remember the early days of CFS when you had just joined the Shadow squad, at times everybody would change their names and no one knew who was who. We had just got a new kitten called Spookie and Shadow_Draken logged out then and few minutes later SW_Spookie logged in, that was just one of your many zone names. Later that year I remember telling you that Mo's joystick had died and he had mine, the next thing I know a new stick arrived from you and the guys in the RCAF, it was all wrapped with an Xmas card signed by you all, then a few weeks later a parcel arrived with all the parts to build a new pc for me which you and the RCAF guys had all chipped in for, you had arranged with Mo to get a case and new monitor and get it all up and running for Xmas.

Right from the time we first chatted on the zone up until the time you left us we spoke on almost a daily basis, about hopes and dreams, the one thing that always comes to mind was your wish to go into space, when they had live coverage of Expedition 9,every time I logged onto MSN you gave me the link to look at it. Flying, space and the internet were the loves of your life.

May you now spread your wings and soar through the universe on a whole new adventure, for those of us left behind it will be hard to get over the tremendous loss of you not being there every time we log onto the net, but the memories will never dim of knowing the wonderful, thoughtful and generous person you were.

I don’t know what more to say, most of the previous posts have said it all.
To your mother, brother, sisters, Roy, Banshee and Bush you have lost a very special person, you have our deepest sympathy and our thoughts are with you. God bless.

So sorry to hear the sad news about Tony. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a great person, one of the best.

Ive been on the road working for Sikorsky phasing BlackHawks for the Army I finally am able to get on line and i come to find this sad sad news.
Im in shock! Tony was a class act, a low deep James Bond savy British voice that made me feel i was in the Battle of Britian every time i flew with him. He was one heck of a sim pilot and had an absolutly great sence of humor. He would stay up to the wee hours to fly with us when we needed him in matches or just to have a good time with us. I missed him when he came to the states and stayed with Jerry. Now I miss him even more so. Im flooded with memories as i write this hearing his voice his laugh, as the years went by and my personal life interfered with my gaming i saw and heard less and less of my squad mates. It was an honor to have known Tony and call him my friend. He will be missed.
