Post subject: locking up

S! guys,

I've been just recently have been having this problem of my computer locking up, the mouse will still move, but everything else is locked.

Trying to run antivirus, will get to a certain point and lock up, along with anything i'm tring to run.

Games work fine, Ran 3 different spyware and am trying to get my anti virus to go all the way through to see if it's infected.

Any ideas?

Post subject: Re: locking up

go to safe mode and run your AV and anti-spy ware programs.

Don't use safe mode with networking until you have run both programs once. Then if they both worked reboot into safe mode with networking, do a manual update of both AV and spy programs and re-scan. You will also want to check your start-up for any questionable programs and go to the control panel and uninstall anything there that may be a problem (things like spy sherrif)

gl!
