Created as a response to questions on the AFV News Discussion Group & intended as a complement to the vehicle directories members have created so they can be filled with more detailed information. Serial numbers can be communicated to the directory creator's or other members as needed for inclusion in directories or other data bases. RN's and/or Ordnance numbers may also be found on some vehicles. The document includes drawings to locate the numbers on various vehicles organized as pre- and post- 1945."
