Detail note - The red edged National Marking was only used for about 6 months in 1943. At that time only F6F-3 were in production. The -3 did not have rocket rails and I don't think were set up to carry bombs (They were considered pure fighters not fighter bombers) Great picture but slipping into History Channel accuracy Crying or Very sad
