October 2nd Sunday flight

Sunday, October 02, 2005 (12:45:19)
Mmm, it took a bit more than usual, but here is a plan with several unusual details, as discussed last Sunday. At first, almost the whole path runs along intersections, so forget about VOR's or NDB's and tune your GPS; then, there's a mandatory intermediate stop, so to have time to change the film into the camera, as I guess there will be many pics to be taken.

The particularly beautiful premises deserve much attention, and I hope the weather will be good enough to increase our enjoying it. For the purpose, we switch back once you again to our beloved Howard, so start polishing it Cool

#41 CYVR – Vancouver Intl. (Canada) -> CYXS – Prince George (Canada)
Overall distance: 448,6 nm.
Estimated time: 1:27 h.

FS2004 Flight for Sept 24th!

Sunday, September 25, 2005 (01:29:54)
Wow, what a long run: we're going to leave Montana, quickly pass over Idaho, then overfly Washington State, and finally cross the border and land at Vancouver, where plenty of runways and ILS will wait for us, and also something else to relax from the strain, I hope

You might ask why not Seattle, as it was closer... well, go on wondering, I have no ready reply, and after all that could be a possible destination for one of the bush flights planned by our good MadDog, as well as many other places here around - the premises are well worth to be visited Cool

#40 KFCA – Glacier Park Intl / Kalispell (Montana – USA) -> CYVR – Vancouver Intl. (Canada)
Overall distance: 443,3 nm.
Estimated time: 1:51 h.

The Saga Begins, Chapter 6!

Sunday, September 25, 2005 (01:27:03)
Shadow Banshee and Bush were at the end of the bar discussing the last run back to the "Sheeps Pen". "Did you notice anything unusual at the tower?" Banshee asked. "Not really." Said Bush."Why, did you notice something strange?" Banshee just looked off into space and he had a stern look as if in deep thought, and said " Yep, there were two people in the tower, and they looked like they were talking to each other instead of directing air traffic." Bush asked "Why do you think that's so odd? Seeing more than two in tower isn't that unusual." Banshee said " I know that mate, that isn't what I mean, did you see all the BS pilots on the ground....they were in hysterics!"...."Hmmmmm" Bush thought, "You don't suppose Falcon was in there do you Banshee?................

TC's Corner #9!

Sunday, September 25, 2005 (01:23:41)
TC's Corner #9 is out! "What? You're from WHERE?"

Captains Log: Star Date 3515.51
We arrive outside of TC's Rookie Kilter Emplorium.
"Dagnabbit Jim, I hate having my molecules beamed all over the universe!" complained Dr. McCoy.
"Take it easy Bones," said Captain Kirk. "We have a job to do."
"Captain," says Spock.
"Yes, Mr. Spock?"
"There is a figure lurking in the shadows of this building."
"Right, Mr. Spock. Phasers on Stun."

TC's Corner #8, "Trim Tab Technology!"

Sunday, September 11, 2005 (12:47:41)
"Carefully I crawled over the barren field, evading the enticing antennae of the Claymore mines and dodging the stabbing glare of the searchlights. Haha, I thought to myself as I crossed the field, you’d have to try harder than that to stop me, Ickie! At last I made it over the field and up to the door to the concrete "Block A" which housed the vault with the precious Trim Tab Technology inside."
