M3 Half Track at Fort Riley, Kansas, USA

M3 Half Track
S/N: 5049 (Rebuild plate on right side of instrument panel)
Location: 7638 Shanks Street, Ft. Riley, KS (1-18 IN Battalion HQ)
This vehicle may have been loaned to the French government following WWII, then returned sometime after the rebuild(?) in 1977. The vehicle was probably originally displayed in Germany, then moved to Ft. Riley with the 1st Infantry Division in about 2006.
