May 14th FS2004 Sunday flight

Saturday, May 13, 2006 (00:26:19)

After a landing in pitch dark, here follows a take off at dusk: casting long shadows, objects give a greater impression of depth, so these are the best photographic conditions you can meet. Ah, we're still in Indonesia, but just for this time: get ready for a big jump in the newest continent!

#73 WASS Jefman / Sorong (Indonesia) -> WABP Tembagapura / Timika (Indonesia)
Overall distance: 429,3 nm.
Estimated time: 1:19 h.

-Driveable cannon boat with 2 tank-turret power guns, 50cal guns, and an armory below deck
-Set of OH58 helicopters (with loadouts such as transport, minigun, etc.)
-Medevil castle set
-MASH tent that has respawning med pack inside (good for COOP)
-Set of barn buildings
-Gas station, playground
-Lighthouse
-Sewer tunnel system
-Large star field
-Anti aircraft artillery
-Snow scooter fixed and now available within NILE
-Large warehouse buildings
-Large crane
-More foilage
-Bot AI's modified to move differently. See the do*****entation in JO/expansion/ic/docs for details and description for map makers.
-Decorations such as traffic signs, parked trailers, gravestones, a climbable fast rope
-Absolute dark environment file (turn that gamma up all you want, you wont see jack)
-Environment files more suited for desert terrains
-Multi-colored smoke grenades available by repeatedly pressing your smoke grenade key

May 7th FS2004 Sunday flight

Saturday, May 06, 2006 (00:11:29)

To compensate the short flight we had last Sunday, here is one double the lenght... well, there was little choice, as we need to reach Indonesia, and there's no intermediate stop available. To cover the distance in a reasonable time, we have to switch to the Howard, which is faster, and capable to land on shorter runways: keep you cameras ready for my personal show!

#72 RPMR General Santos / Tambler (Philippines) -> WASS Jefman / Sorong (Indonesia)
Overall distance: 557,7 nm.
Estimated time: 1:44 h.

April 30th FS2004 Sunday flight

Friday, April 28, 2006 (22:03:35)

A short but interesting flight across islands and mountain chains ends our tour of Philippines; the next time, a far bigger hop will bring us in Indonesia.

#71 RPVM Mactan-Cebu Intl / Lapu-Lapu (Philippines) -> RPMR General Santos / Tambler (Philippines)
Overall distance: 288,4 nm.
Estimated time: 1:11 h.
