The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Not sure if discussions on un-armored vehicles are allowed here. I haven't see any, so I am asking upfront to be sure I am not breaking any rule. I am looking for help to id some Dodge, can I post some pics or can you point to another forum where I could get help? Thanks Massimo

Hi Massimo,

As long as the vehicles have a military focus, or better yet, were purpose-built for military application, I don't imagine any outcry about posting and asking about them. Don't think we've ever formulated a "rule" since it doesn't often come up, but trucks and support vehicles have been discussed from time-to-time.

You seem to have grasped the tone of the the forum well, and contributed some great stuff, so I'd say "post away". If we start getting a big response and other contributions, we can always create an area for that, but here should be fine for now.

By the way, you can also get some very informed opinions on the G503 forums if nobody can help you here:
