Sofia. National museum of military history
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

There is a discussion on Flickr about the small Amstrong gun. There is a good hypothesis, but the sources don't agree:

Thanks Costas, I know that website. It's run by an italian guy and uses some of my pictures, but it's not 100% reliable. In fact, it goes against both landships and Wikipedia on this specific case

I noticed him referring to your pics on at least one occasion. I didn't go too deep in it, but thought it might be of some help to you.

Great photos, as usual, Massimo!!

Thanks, also, for adding another stop for us on our "Bucket List Whirlwind European Adventure Tour" - due to be embarked upon once we win the lottery!

Cheers,
Paul

I had a good opportunity to take pictures of FROG-7 from different angles (more shots on Flickr):

The BTR-152 appears to have been modified with a locally made closed top.
Some links about this variant:

This one looks familiar, but I can't remember its name:

Soviet tractor by Massimo Foti, on Flickr

Looks like the remains of a Ya-12/13 artillery tractor. The suspension was the same as the T-60 light tank. The grille is a bit odd - the original Ya-12 had horizontal louvres but this one seems to have lost the louvres and has a grille of vertical bars. The wooden cab is original - seems to have been a WW2 economy measure.

Regards,

Charlie

Thanks Charlie. In the meantime I already identified the tractor by looking at Tankograd's book. It's still not clear to me if it's a Ya-12/13 or even if it's a post-war variant. Anyway, it's a pretty rare beast.
