Post subject: Surviving 4.7inch M1906 Guns

Finished the article on the 6inch M1908 Howitzer - on Landships II - thought I'd make a start on the 4.7inch M1906 Gun.

There are lots of surviving 4.7inch guns in the US - including a pair on Lake Michigan between Green Bay and Milwaukee (attached). Anyone know where these guns are located?

Regards,

Charlie

No but I found another pair at Muskegon, MI at 43.260627, -86.243513.
The guns don't show up very well on Google Earth but they are obvious on street view.

Found a news item which says they were restored 2014-15 - www.mlive.com/news/mus...orld.html.

Regards,

Charlie
