The M1 Abrams was there when we visited Camp Atterbury on 6/7/13. It has SN 1599.

Recently updated satellite imagery, circa September 28, 2014, shows (or seems to show) an M1 Abrams has been added to the collection of the Camp Atterbury Veterans Memorial.

The Abrams is located at coordinates 39.359693,-86.033835

LOL!! You can say that again!

Even with easing up for this tour on tank hunting in order to have more time to process/post galleries, we're up to 570 total stops for military museums.
That's 307 VFWs, AL Posts, Memorial Parks etc with 96 large AFV museums, 105 Air Museums (when I'll have time to post those is a mystery!) and visits to most every Naval museum or ship in the US (have a few subs left, but most capital ships have been visited - again WHEN those will be posted is also a mystery) - I've come to realize I need a full-time staff!!

We have been amazingly fortunate to have a job that allows us to indulge in our hobbies.

Update on the Minerva, OH M3A3 Stuart-I checked the coordinates in the 2011 Register but came up blank, however a quick search shows it's now displayed at the "Minerva Veterans Memorial Park" at:

Live Oak, FL location:

The M4A3(75) with fake mantlet and barrel is SN 2823 and located at 1416 11th St SW, Live Oak, FL ‎.

The M41 in Danville, KY is near Millennium Park but the GPS coordinates and street reference (Rowe) in the register are incorrect. GPS coordinates are:
N 37 39.327 W 84 47.877

The M7 listed in Marysville, KS is located at a different park than the one listed in the Registry. Its actually in Lions Park off N 16th & North St. The GPS coordinates are incorrect as well.

Regarding the M26A1 in New Bedford, MA at Franco-American Square - as I noted in my gallery post, the SN is listed in the Registry as 1693 but the SN stamped on the tank is 922.
