What kind of M60 is this?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Former USMC M60A1, By the looks a 7000 series. Marine A1's had the same opening on the left rear turret as the A3's did for a wind sensor. They could mount an antenna base on theirs which requires 4 bolts. A3 turrets would have a three bolt opening. One way to tell between the two when the wind sensor is removed. _________________ Joe_D

Went back and looked through my pics. Yes, the numbers match. Joe G must be its owner now. He is lucky. That was one sweet machine with an absolute TON of spares.
