WTS to move in Dresden?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

A fellow swiss guy visited Koblenz's collection and heard more rumours about WTS closing soon. German Wikipedia says the collection will go to the new Dresden Museum: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/...ng_Koblenz Any additional info on this? Massimo PS Thinking about it, I may be able to make a hit-and-run visit to Koblenz this summer...

Oh, sure, now....I went there every other years for twelve years and only got to see the "Trabi" and motorcycle museum.

Hello, No, the WTS stays where it is now. This is decided in 2009 by the German Government. I visit the WTS regularly and check the German forums about news from the WTS. (there will be always rumours). Regards, Wim
