Hi Jeff !

Thank you for these kind words. It indeed has been a long story: it took 4 weeks in the hospital to mend the difficulties concerning the arteries and veins in my leg. The 4th operation took some 6 hours and that was ( in the words of the surgical team ) walking on a thin rope and the best the University of Nijmegen could do. First thing next morning ( all doctors around my bed) was checking the temp of my foot...they were verrrrry concerned if their work had held out and that they indeed saved the leg. I WAS A VERY HAPPY PERSON) and the Mrs. too and the kids as well and the friends.etc
During the holidays in France - I was allowed Smile -there was a difficulty that had to be attended so I spent another 5 days in a French hospital - now - that was quite an experience! Medics OK but the other things around were "quite different in style and manner".... Nevertheless , things are OK now - with the help of physiotherapists ( and the urging of my wife and children) this lazy old man is on his feet again and training every day to stretch his walk. Of course you may convey this to my other JG300 friends and you may thank them for the good wishes as well! The screenshots are on their way - I just recently did some so I leave it to you to get them in the POTD-list. Once more: thank you for the kind letter. and yes, little Isabel is doing fine - she is a lovely child; nothing wrong - the only thing is that she is blind. WE love her the way she is. She KNOWS who we are ....so funny.
