Auto-Retro Museum, Svente (Latvia)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I don't think those are OT 810's. Those 2 German Halftracks look like sdkfz 251 B and 251 D.

Hmm... some details indicate that both are converted OT´s... the "nose" of both is to broad for beeing real 251ers. And if I see correct the "b" has tracks without rubber pads , the D has welding seams were the rear end is changed ...

You may be right and they've gone to a fair bit of trouble replacing/ replicating drive sprockets, idlers and upper hulls.

I wouldn't use track type as an indicator.

For sure the tracks can be changed so its only a weak evidence .... but in most cases the postwar tracks are found on OT´s while the owners of original 251ers do their best to get a set of original tracks.

The 2 hinches on the noseplate give it away as OT-810
a 251 does not have those
They also have exhaust on both sides wich indicates for the Czech 8 cylinder The 251 6 cylinder has only exhaust on the left

Thanks for confirmation- still looks like a pile of work was done to make these OT 810's look like sdkfz 251. Would this have been done for the museum?
( if so that really makes me wonder about this collection- sort of Victory Museum east?)

OT-810 (Sdkfz. 251 C), the rebuilt the Slovak thus was remodeled 5 pieces.
Because of the sale.
