The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Paul and Loren, Thanks for sharing the Ordnance Museum photos. I wish BRAC had never happened, APG was my favorite place to go. Last I knew the 16" Coastal gun was the only item remaining at the Museum. Does anyone know if the Museum building has opened, or is it still sitting there empty? Thanks for sharing all other photos from the many places You visit. Rick

I wonder how much of this stuff made it to Fort Benning, when I was in the safe at Aberdeen it seemed lots of folks had access……… 1 2 3 4 5 6

Access to the vault varied over the years I was there but it was pretty much what I considered 'secondary access' where only a few people were actually able to open it.
