My most recent watch was the 1974 version of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three on Amazon Prime. It had been quite some time since I last watched the film but I still found it to be a very enjoyable watch. Seeing all the old tech that was being used at the time was pretty cool too. Cool

Jerry Stiller (Lt. Rico Patrone - transit cop)
Ben Stiller’s dad, Part of the comedy team of Stiller and Meara, and George’s dad on Seinfeld.
Doris Roberts (The mayor’s wife)
Had a bit part in this movie as the wife of the mayor but is likely best remembered as Raymond’s mom Marie in the TV series Everybody loves Raymond. It was not until I was looking at the cast list on the IMDb page for the movie that I had any idea it was her playing that part.

Robert Shaw (Mr. Blue)
Played Quint in the movie Jaws the following year
Martin Balsam (Mr. Green)
Hector Elizondo (Mr. Grey)
He had several memorable roles.
Earl Hindman (Mr. Brown)
Played Wilson in the TV series Home Improvement. I had no clue it was him while I was watching the movie.

There have been two remakes of this movie and even with all star casts neither one was as good as the original version.

I only use it for the BBC News or David Attenborough natural history documentaries.
Drama's rubbish.
Comedy's rubbish.
Sport's all Pay-To-Stream (which I did give a go, but found it to be expensive rubbish).

Yep hundreds of the things.

I don't have Pelham 123 in my collection but remember going to the cinema to see it when it was first released.
Really good movie, and his grin at the end!
