General Dynamics presentation on FRES
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: General Dynamics presentation on FRES
FRES is the UK's Future Rapid Effects System, roughly an equivalent to FCS albeit following a different path in some areas, not least the fact the upper end vehicles will be in the 30-40ton class...............

It's a largish presentation being just under 7Mb, so depending on your broadband download speed, it could take 20-30 minutes to download. If you've got dial-up don't bother................

The presentation is interesting not least because it has heaps of info on FRES but also on LAV IV AND V.
