I found this F-111 at the corner of the entrance to the town of Clovis, TX., as I was making my way from Ft Irwin, CA to Ft Hood, TX around the first of June. There was an M42 "Duster" there as well. I wanted to stop and get better pictures but I dont think these came out bad since I was making a left hand turn pulling a trailer full of ATV's and motorcycles behind my 8 inch lifted Dodge Ram and wasn't really watching where I pointed the camera. If you look in my trucks mirror in the one picture, you'll see my wife in the grey Mercury Sable which is pulling a trailer with my 100th Anniversay Harley inside. She knew what I was doing and stayed back off my rear-end. Earlier that day I passed an F-100 along the road side. I was hauling along and had no time to get a picture. With two kids and a dog in the heat, I wasn't about to piss them all off and circle back around for some pictures, haha.

Jeff, that's interesting. Other than being situated midway between Dyess and Kirtland AFB's, I can't imagine why that would be there. Of course, the M42 is easy to understand....Clovis isn't that far from Littlefield, TX. Mr. Green

(Somehow, I imagine Rhonda on the walkie-talkie saying something like "Jeff, put the damn camera down and drive!" ...or something more delicate and feminine to that effect....)
