AAA Identification help
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi all,

Bob, that's a fence with barbed wire on top (those sort of leany-inny things they put on top to discourage casual intruders). I can see how you might wonder about it though. The first time I looked at the pics it took me a second to realize that was the fence, and I was there when the pictures were taken!

P.S....just as technical question since we can maybe take advantage of yer expertise...why do they use leany-inny things to keep out intruders? Wouldn't leany-outy things be better for that? It's something that's always bothered me....
