It is possible? I have Windows Vista installed on one of my hard drives. I really don't like Vista too much, so it is possible to install XP on the other HD?

About to do the same.
Yes, it is possible but (apparently) it's better to install Vista first and XP second.
Vista (apparently) takes over your activation code for XP.
Not sure entirely what that means, but I'm stealing myself for some installation confusion between the two OS activation codes when I eventually get around to it.
Presume it's something to do with the different licence terms so Bill can tie you into Vista's useage contract.

Hmm...that's the problem. Also, all the software was preinstalled on my computer. Vista is really an unneccessary successor to XP, which in my opinion is the best all around OS there ever was.

agreed.
I only got Vista because of the superior audio drivers.
They're so superior that they lasted all of ten minutes on my system.

Bill's marketing dept. surpassed themselves with Vista.
It's a pile of acorn shells and I'm having loads of problems with it with software and hardware not working in it.

THIS thread might have some helpful tips for ya with the operation.
