Cool

Well fella's as allready exists in IL-2 to share an aircraft, now it seems that it will get available for fs9 as well.

by mere chance I stumbled across this proggy, check it all out here

I think this can add a whole new meaning to the game and also you could team-up with a co-pilot.

I think it's worthwile to give it a closer look

well, we tried it out and ended up getting a whole lotta game crashes and freezes and all sorts of other problems. Once we got it to work it seemed ok but I think its still a bit buggy....

Heres Moser and Mustang in the same Piper with me following them.

Tried it out today with Fled, and it worked very well after we figured out how to use it. I found that if your co-pilot you can't use the hatswitch to look around the instruments or in outside view you can't look around the plane...I am not sure if I am missing something or should read the manual lol..is anyone else able to use the hatswitch to look around in cockpit view or in VC or outside the plane?

Rgr was fun doing that Hitman, now we will disect the contraption to find out what all the options are.........or not ! Laughing

we now have also an option to help people out with fs9 for setting up a small training thingy, imagine, you never flown the thing, now you can watch as things unfold and ask questions get hands on doing stuff etc etc, the options seem limitless, but as said previously, we need to get to the bottom of this and see what more options are hidden in there, like for example the not been able to use the HAT switch seems a wee bit annoying to me, but maybe we didn't know where to look for, as we, as usual we DIDN'T read TFM Laughing

We also need to test this with multiple aircraft hooked up to the server and we then could test if it is possible to let's say for example 8 people connected form 4 two man crews ? dunno if that works but shurely would like to try that out ! Wink

So far a bit of todays exploits, we keep at it and will inform with the progress we make...........

OOPS !! Almost forgot...................THANKX Hit for having the patience to test this contraption

Supposedly it has the capability to have 8 people in one plane. We got 3 in, but one of our computers crashed. Probably, we cause we did something in the sync process or something.

yes, it seems to work fine when you have 2 people in the plane as pilot and co-pilot.... as soon as we tried to add a third person as "passenger" one of our computers crashed or something went wrong. Also, as far as the hatswitch not working, the co-pilot has to use his keyboard or default keys to look around and such.... Try turning num-lock on and use the numbers on the keypad too look around.

I think that, to make the non-flying pilot not move the plane, the joystick has been disabled.. this would make sense.... However that is just a guess..... hense the non working hat switch? Neutral

I just read the manual..lol.. and yes the joystick (all axis and hat switch) are currently disabled when you are a co-pilot but they are working on allowing the hat switch or other means for viewing around the aircraft in a future beta release. It helps to read the manual first and then try it out lol.
