Jezz, if I see at the news here what's going on there it ain't no fun, I really hope that they get those fires under control.

They are bringing in C-130s (didn't say whether Reserve Guard or Active) set up to drop retardent

Per a news article over at defenselink dot mil, six have been deployed.
Four are from the Montana and North Carolina Air National Guard and the other two are from the Air Force Reserve out of Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado.

Battlehawk, i used to live on Vancouver island and I remember that mars water bomber doing practice runs near port albernie and dude.....that thing drops a devestating load. Shocked

A little bit late, but an interesting look into the Evergreen 747 'SuperTanker.' Looks like it came from Evergreen, the designers.
