Saumur Carousel #14 - M10 & EBR monuments nearby
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Saumur Carousel #14 - M10 & EBR monuments nearby
P-O and I discovered these two vehicles while we were attending the carousel. At first we thought they were runners in a holding area, but then discovered they were monuments located near Ecole d’Application de l’Arme Blindée Cavalerie that we werent previously aware of!

M10 (SN 626)







It also has that wierd scoop thing at the rear - did we ever figure out what it was for?

I presume that it is to deflect the exhaust gaz that could make some dust and allow the enemy to locate the tank?
