Photo's open day
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

OUCH !!!

(holding my side, where I too was on the receiving end of 3 bruised ribs, when returning to 'terra firma' as a TC.)

I think I got more banged up as a gunner, though,.... The worst that comes to mind is when I "lost" 5 teeth when tank did a 'lawn dart' into an old tank fighting position. I 'ate' several knobs on the GPS, gunners primary sight. (40 MPH - 0 MPH into 15 foot deep trench, broadside, with no warning) Shocked
