Half Track at Fernley, Nevada
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

That is at least an M16(A?), with the dropdown armor. Its Armored,.....for Fighting,......and,....a Vehicle, so it is a true AFV. Rolling Eyes (duh)

I've got the Canton M60A3 - its RN JZ0798.

The Fernley M16 is new though - thanks!

Ahemmm,

as you can see by the step in the back, it is an M2, the hinges behind the driver's door are for the stowage compartment, the other items that look like hinges for dropdown armour are rivets with a bit of rust/dirt accumulated. Cool

Cheers,

Jens O.

It seems to me to be an M2 too...

I guess my 'gaps' in Half Track knowledge/education have shown through. Cool

Thanks for the corrections.
