This is a fantastic site. Most anything you want to know about warbirds is here. a footnote. The Commemorative Air Force restored a B-24 ( Diamond Lil) To its original configuration and she was renamed "Ole 927"
It has 3154 posts and 211 pages on this one subject.
Sadly Gary Austin, Who supervised and did a lot of the work on her passed away this fall. R.I.P. Brother
