Have my doubts. Apart from the handling issues of a narrow front track (the glorified three-wheeler problem), it will also be a problem for driver perception. Open wheel racing as we've known it supposes essentially the same width of front as rear track so the driver can see his margin. Here, the entire field of driver vision will be misleading to the driver so I can envision a lot of rear-rear contact in passing or close driving. Another consequence is that this means you have four tires presenting cross-sections to the air rather than just two (one behind the other).

It does look like a great dragster, though, if they ballast the heck out of the front. Mr. Green
