The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Anyone recognise the location of this one - its in Denmark apparently... From the looks of the gun tube my estimate is an M4A3E4, a post-war rebuild that was supplied to Denmark, Yugoslavia, Pakistan and others.

I know for a FACT that it stands at "Høvelte Kaserne" in Høvelte Denmark. Actually it stands on the edge of the terrain that belongs to the barracks with the Danish word kaserne meaning barracks. _________________ hvasnakkerduom.blogspo...wagen.html

yes, I'll probably do a "Sherman oddities" page, with the most unlikely Sherman parts added together. For example, the M4A4 HVSS hull that has received a 105mm turret...
