Post subject: Skoda type SV4 in Aberdeen ?

Dear Sirs,
I am looking for information about German anti-tank cannon - prototype: 5cm Pak 2.06/835 (Skoda type SV4). The weapon was exhibited in 1976 in Aberdeen.

Where is he now?

Here it was just a couple of years ago at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Not completely sure where it is now... It may be in storage at APG - it was (at least initially) not destined for the new Ordnance Museum at Fort Lee (and I dont remember seeing it in the storage area there either). But another museum, like the Field Artillery Museum at Fort Sill, could have also easily claimed it...

well never seen that type of loading system used for an AT-gun Shocked

Only knew it from AA guns like the Bofors and German 37mm FlaK

Learned something new today Laughing
