I've a few others from that era lurking somewhere.

The Museum is selling some vehicles:

There was a Charioteer there when I visited a couple of years back - it's good to see they've restored it. I've recently written up the collection, and will be putting online very soon.

This is how far I've got so far (and I've just added the Charioteer and the photos I have of it):

There are 30 tanks there altogether, plus other military vehicles and artillery.

Is that a new FV 4101 Charioteer? or the Isle of Wight Military Museum have restored a Charioteer ?

I got the information today, that a British guy has bought and brought back from the USA an M4E9 Sherman (composite hull with double extended end connectors, and this is a rare small hatches type).

This is the only picture I was able to find on the internet, but the source is reliable, even if the information are very thin.



Is there anybody who could give me more information about this?

well, the French army required to remove the manufacturer's plate in 1918 (as said in a previous post), but the Bovington museum removed the entire side where the plate was screwed.

Maybe too much precaution?
