Surviving Panzers website
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

If we're lucky, it'll appear on someone's restoration, otherwise it's been sold as scrap by the locals!

a turret of Marmon Herrington Mk.II in Ksar Ghilane (Tunisia)

www.deutsches-afrika-k...58736a6109

a member of the MLU forum says :
"The sad remnants of a MARMON HERRINGTON armoured truck in KSAR GHILANE, Tunisia. A few years ago, the whole turret was still there...no Idea, who took it away. "

So it seems that the Marmon turret is not there anymore.

It's still far from being completed, but it was used as a static stronhold on recent reenactment event Tiesnava, sort of reconstruction of Battle for the Strecno Gap.

For a one man show, it started to look pretty impressive. Can't wait when he finishes it.

Firefly Vc?

yes it is a former Firefly Vc, but also a former Sherman Repotenciado which served in Argentina in the 1950s or 1960s.
