Being British, there's a good chance it was!
Probably two, one for the hull, another for the turret.

For example, the M114 comes from the US Army base in Grafenwöhr (Germany) and was acquired by the museum in 1993 (Saumur museum's
magazine n° 25)

Beautiful pictures. Just for your records, the M114 is a very rare M114A2. Basically a M114 with a powered turret and 20mm M139 cannon.
