The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. I wonder if he could do a third hull with the parts for sale on Milweb..

Hello P-O,

You never know!
But now he is completing a Panther, this was told me by a "reliable source".
Well we have to wait untill we see pictures but I am convinced we will see this year a Panther built from parts.

Regards,
Wim.

Hi,

In the left side of the picture you can see the hull. It is not yet complete, but it is only a matter of time.

Regards,
Wim.

I'm sure that few people will get a high interest in these parts, and hopefully we will see a 9th Tiger I displayed somewhere soon..

Post subject: Re: Surviving Panzers website

there are several "fake" StuG IIIs built on FV 432 chassis. There are some Panzer IIIs built the same way.

The Panzer 38(t) is reported to be original :
"This exhibit was acquired in Norway and was restored in the United Kingdom using parts sourced from military target ranges, scrap yards, collector and battle damaged vehicles (museum). The tank was found at farm in Norway where it had been used as a tractor, some years ago, missing some of the upper hull and turret, but a replacement turret was found (Nield Vegger)"
