Tankspotting for the AFV Register
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Tankspotting for the AFV Register

On the way to and from the recent IPMS USA National Convention I did some tankspotting in Nebraska, Colorado, and South Dakota with the following results. Photo galleries of all these vehicles (and more) can be found at s698.photobucket.com/u.../library/. Just go to the folder "Preserved AFVs in USA" and pick a state. I have recently completely reorganized my Photobucket account as it was becoming a bit of a disorganized mess, so I apologize to anyone who may have linked to some photos in it. Such links may now be broken. but it had to be done. Again, sorry about that, it won't happen again.

Alf

Hi Alf,

We recently stopped by the cemetery in Kearney, NE to photograph the Sherman. I noticed that someone had dusted off the rear tow lug to see the SN - must have been YOU! I wondered if it was done by a fellow forum member. Funny!
