Question about misprinted "Firepower"
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Question about misprinted "Firepower"

I saw this edition of "Firepower" listed on E-bay. The following was posted in the description: FIREPOWER large hardcover R.P. Hunnicutt military armor photobook. All 224 pages of this book are jam packed with super detail photographs and diagrams throughout. The R.P. Hunnicutt series is considered to be the bible of tank reference and are all out-of-print. This is a used book with damaged dustcover. Also, this is a misprinted edition with pages 129-160 shown twice and pages 65-96 missing.

Was this a common error and do I need to be on the look out for it when I buy "Firepower"?

I only need Stuart, Patton, Abrams, and Firepower to complete my collection.

Wow! I've never heard of that before! Sad

I just checked mine. Page 65-96 is a big chumk of 'Tanks to late for War' The section on the T28-T34.

Sounds like a 32 page folio (The sections books used to be made from)was in the wrong stack and got bound in instead of the correct one.

At least they are warning folks

My copy is ok. If it happened to one book, then maybe it happened to several others as well. Sounds like something to look out for when buying.
