Hi All,

We’ve added a gallery of photos of the M40 on display at the ARNG Armory in Mena, AR.
The GPS coordinates are: N 34 35.594 W 94 13.356

Surprisingly, both RNs are valid for M40s, but I give more credence to the one in the metal over the one in paint.

The SGT that came out of the armory when we were doing the shoot said that they used the long number on the right front glacis as the ID number for the vehicle. He didn't think it was the SN, but it was the only visible means of IDing the vehicle for the paperwork.

The funny thing is that when I asked the curator of the ARNG museum at Camp Robinson about the whereabouts of the Charleston and Mena M40s (prior to actually tracking them down by legwork) the 'official' documents for AFV locations for the state had no info.
