Announced - Tucson Military Vehicle Museum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Announced - Tucson Military Vehicle Museum

Hi All,

Just read this on a Warbird news site:

“ Pima Air and Space Museum announced Tuesday that they have acquired 77 acres of land east of their existing parcel. The land will be used to build “The Tucson Military Vehicle Museum.”

warbirdsnews.com/aviat...nding.html

Reportedly: “ The imperial War Museum has also offered 50 unique vehicles for direct transfer to the museum for this project.“

Vagabond, Thanks for the update. Looking forward to more vehicles in a museum, rather than one shutting down.
