There is a "Stryker Tank" at the Washington Auto Show...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

As per the show website, LOL:

Washington Auto Show

"The Stryker Tank – US Military Vehicle

The Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) combines the capacity for rapid deployment with survivability and tactical mobility. The Stryker vehicle enables the team to manoeuvre in close and urban terrain, provide protection in open terrain and transport infantry quickly to critical battlefield positions."

I am planning to go to the show this Sunday, so I assume I will get some pics...

And yes, I have succesfully made it over - although I must admit I prefer the thread-view of the old forum. Oh well...

Neil

Hi Neil! Hi Folks!

A few months back, a Cav Troop of M1127s was working south of Deming NM with the Border Patrol. The local press was also calling those armored cars, "TANKS".

Can't wait to see your photos if you have time.
Sgt, Scouts Out!
