Glad ya like 'em...yeah they are sweet, ain't they? Here's what's in that picture:

The Gee Bee R2 is for FS2002 but seems to fly just fine in FS2004, however it's fairly basic. The Laird-Turner Meteor is WAYYY NICE with a gorgeous VC, finish, and flight model. Quite a hotrod too....try some aerobatics and knife-edge flying!

Scenery is the old Cleveland airport and Thompson trophy pylon course (with bleachers, cars, audience, everything) that's included in "Golden Wings 3". I decided to check GW3 out a coupla weeks ago. It's a huge download, and essentially requires a second install of FS9 that you then rename and massage with the GW3 installer. It's not bad, not bad at all! IF you have the hard drive space, and an hour or so to set everything up carefully.

There's also an excellent Gee Bee model Z from Warwick Carter that came out not terribly long ago. I was tempted to use it in that shot but, in reality it was no match for the Laird and the other big dogs that came along a year or two later.

Lookin' for a Laird Super Solution, a Wedell-Williams, and a few others to round out the hangar. Would be pretty cool to do some online Golden Age air racing stuff with 'em, tho! Smile
