Hello everybuddy!Griffonmodel coming!
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Welcome to the market place and good luck! Great looking items.

Sense you asked for opitions and suggestions, I have one for you and the members of this DG.

M3 driver's position had a "SEAT BELT" back during the early 1940s?

Did the US Army start using seat belts that far back?

Roy...look in Hunnicutt's "Sherman"...I was surprized to see references to crew seatbelts in, if I'm not mistaken, even the M2 and/or the T1 Phase X series of prototypes for that later series of vehicles. My question was when they disappeared?

As to GriffonModel: Have you secured any agreements with companies for distribution in Europe and the United States? If so, whom and if not, when might that be done so people might know when to look for availability of these products? A tentative suggested retail price list on your website would be helpful as well. If there is one, I didn't see it. You might want to post a link.

I guess I need to look through that book again!

I wonder if anyone ever used them? During all my time in M113s (NOT COUNTING RVN), the seat belts were never used except one time that I can remember.

Seat belts in the earliest of USA vehicles. I wonder if any other countries put them in their early vehicles?
