Any M4's in Chattanooga, TN???
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I will be in Chattanooga over the Thanksgiving weekend for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary / Family reunion. Are there any easy to find M4's or any other interesting armor in the area? I won't have much time for searching so it needs to be pretty accesible/ easy to find. Thanks,

Jeff look up Legions, VFW's, Guard and Reseve units in the phone book if you have some time to kill. You might find something. Good hunting and have a nice Thanksgiving with the family....I have nothing there on my WWI list....

Jeff,

M42 Duster in Chattanooga (I've haven't seen it though) and a little bit north is the M48A5 at the Veterans Memorial in Collegedale (Real close to the Little Debbie Bakery), been there, it's a very nice memorial. Everything else is further North along I-75, M60's, M114's, M59's all in the registry. There's also an F4E Phantom in Athens TN in front of the VFW that's a former "Thunder Bird" , tail number 2, mounted on a plinth.

Nearest Sherman is up north of Knoxville in Rogersville.
