I'm trying to picture how that would be a sight for an M60 MBT, but it's not happening for me.

Hi,

Not a tank sight. It's a right angle direct-fire sight for a 105mm howitzer, probably an M101.

The photo of the reticle shows stadia lines for M1 HE, M327 HEP, and XM482 HE.

A search for XM482 HE leads to a host of DoD references and specifications for a semi-fixed HE projectile, but nothing as concise or descriptive as the first two.
