Post subject: Anyone thinking of getting a new graphic card soon?

If you're thinking in terms of "SLi" or "Crossfire", my advice would be to hold off for a while.

SLi is nVidia's technology for combining graphic cards.
Crossfire is ATi's version.
Both technologies are rather restricted (being that one won't work with the other) and there's something right around the corner which may replace it altogether by combining both technologies to allow the use of each together.

It's called "HYDRA".

Okay, any ideas how this thread came across from another forum, preceded the actual post I was making and then wouldn't allow me to delete the ones that weren't needed?
