Quite the athlete. She's probably "carrying" more than her body weight in weapon and ammo.

I think you're right, Bob...the shoulder strap doesn't look at all real.

Hence the quotation marks around "carrying" in my previous post. The crudely drawn in carrying strap on the 60 was another giveaway.

Yep, my recollection (and that of my shoulder) is that an M60 in that config weighs 23lbs....with that "strap" it would carve her little arm off at the shoulder. Then there's the ammo....

During my very brief time in college (I dropped out after a semester and a half) I took part in a couple of Army ROTC FTX's. Being the lightest and skinniest guy (boy, has that changed!) in the bunch, I got stuck lugging the squad M-60 around. 23 pounds doesn't sound like much, but after toting it the first couple of miles it seemed more like 230. The handles on those belt boxes were none too comfy for extended carrying, either.

Well, personally I think a weapon like that is only approriate for a girl (or her father) when she reaches dating age.

Although cleaning and sharpening my genuine (reproduction) 'Sykes-Fairbaine' knife tends to limit the conversations to "....its nice to meet you SIR!..."

I have three younger sisters. Growing up, I remember my dad having his guns out and in various stages of tear-down while cleaning them on the floor in front of the TV. My sisters boyfriends would have to walk right by him and his guns to get into the house. I know I would have been intimidated had I been one of the guys seeing my sisters.
Yeah I knew it was fake, but I thought it was funny and look at all the conversation it caused! More pics to follow as I find them!

Its one of those 'Treat my 'little girl' poorly, and find out' Things. Of course one might not want to find out first hand if its a bluff....

(Actually its the wife who is the one to look out for!! She can be quite imaginative & evil..... )
