O/T for Roy & Dontos
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

That was the old Basic Training Center location.

It's all gone except of that pedestrian overpass over Dyer Street that was near the WW II wooden movie theather.

I remember them having BCT there in the mid 70's for a couple years. It's all history now.

HA.... I remember those postcards from back in late 70's, early 80's.

In 94, I did a Rapid Deployment exercise from Ft Hood as part of 'Op Roving Sands'.

We spent a night in the old barracks on the 'Heights' in the vicinity of the pedistrian bridge. Next morning, 'HETT-ed' up to Range 44 complex.

That was the last time I was in El Paso.
