"Lingles, 'Chief's, & 'Dusters'...(oh my?)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Where is the interior data plate?

I should have the chance to pop by there Monday or Tuesday.

If I get the chance, I will see about getting the info off of it, and some interior shots while I'm there.

Friday I was at the Museum, for an event. 'New' photos, and even video of the WWII gallery. Working on editing now, for posting on 'Armor Ghosts' website. Stay tuned.

Only just picked up tis reply as have had great problems entering the site.

With gun rear if you enter the turret by the loaders hatch and stand facing the turret wall with you back to the breech, if you then kneel down you should see masses of cable pipe etc on the hull wall, there should be a large almost triangular metal conduit cover over some of this area. Attached to this will be (hopefully)the census plate, around 12" long by about 6" deep should be made of alluminium but MAY be brass..It will have the VRN NATO stock number contract number and date of build on it.

Cheers

bob
