Gone Stug 4 Hunting in Poland
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi Gang I am off to Poland to see the Stug 4 restoration and do a photo walkaround as well at the Polish armoured school in Poznan. I will be back on May 15, so ya will have to wait for the update. Cheers Anthony

Be on the lookout for steam locomotives, too! Poznan has (and I think regularly does) hosted "Steam Days" or something like that. I caught three of them in Warsaw train station on their way to Poznan a couple of years ago. Might be some regulars that stay there.

I had the chance to see both of the Stug IV's that are in Poland. I have lots of photos and the story of the restoration are set to appear in the next issue of The Pathfinder Magazine. Cheers Anthony

Too bad condition to make it running.
Not impossible, but difficult.

Some time ago they said they want to make one of their Pz.IV wrecks to be running.

Do somebody knows, what is the progress of that works?
